FUNERALS.

I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.      Romans 8.38,39

Funerals are not something we like to think about and so we are here to help. We want to make the service a fitting celebration of the life of your loved one. Within the service there can be the hymns and music that meant something to you and them; readings from the Bible as well as poems and other readings of your choice. You can talk about your loved one or we can read your tribute. A service tailored to you needs.

Funeral services can take place in church, followed by burial or cremation; a service at the graveside or directly at the crematorium. A funeral director will make many of the practical arrangements including contacting the parish priest who will plan the service with you.

Many people struggle to know what their loved ones would want for their funerals and so we encourage you to talk to your family in advance or, if it is easier, please contact me, the Revd Barbara Hilton and I will be happy to discuss any plans and concerns you have.

My contact details are on our contact us page.
